In case you haven't noticed, I've been trying to make The Missing Fingernail more professional looking, or at least as professional looking as possible within the confines of Blogger.
What I'm most excited about is the fact that I bought my domain name! That's right, it is no longer themissingfingernail.blogspot.com but instead just themissingfingernail.com. It's a small change but one I'm very happy and proud of.
I've also made some changes to the layout of my blog. My personal favorite change is the new "Social Media" sidebar on the left hand side. It took me a couple hours to figure out how to set it up, but it was worth it! Now, people can easily follow me on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!
At the top of my blog, I've added pages which makes it easier to browse The Missing Fingernail by categories. Underneath the Social Media section I've updated my "About Me" part so new readers know a little more about what they're getting into. On the right side of my blog I've added a search bar and a "Popular Posts" widget.
These may seem like small changes, but I think they give The Missing Fingernail a more professional and slick feel. And it was a pain to figure out how to do them all!
